There are various curing applications found in several industries. Batch ovens or conveyor ovens can be used for the curing process based on the customer’s production requirements. The importance of having the right oven settings cannot be overstated. If it’s wrong, the coating may look fine once cooled, however, temperature or timing issues at any stage of curing can lead to a variety of issues with the final product, many of which can mean the coating cannot be used in its intended environment or will fail almost immediately and does not provide the intended protection. Curing is essential in many production lines because it enhances the strength of parts or components and thus prolongs the lifespan of the items. For optimal curing across surfaces, temperature uniformity is critical. Dpstar’s curing ovens are designed with tight temperature tolerance and precise control for repeatable results and uniform airflow that ensure proper curing across an entire load. The result is a harder, tougher, more stable material or coating that resists temperature, humidity, and/or corrosion. These curing ovens provide excellent temperature uniformity, so your parts receive the optimal cure.

Dpstar build and design Conveyorized Oven for curing automotive plastic parts after coating, providing a low footprint with high production capacity. With a curing oven from Dpstar, you will be able to meet tight temperature tolerances and consistent results while remaining cost-effective. These ovens can be continuous for high-volume paint curing, and the parts are transported through the oven on a conveyor. The cure oven raises the product mass and coated material to a specified temperature and holds this temperature for a set time. Typically require 10 to 30 minutes to cure at 121°C to 204°C (250°F to 400°F). Some improvement in curing time occurs at lower temperatures, even as low as 37.78°C. The purpose of curing is to ‘set’ the coating, ensuring it is adhered to the substrate properly and is in the right chemical state to offer resistance and protection. Through the controls, precise temperatures can be set, including both speeds of temperature rises and falls. In addition, the length of time a temperature is held can be precisely set too, and for multi-stage curing such as with powders, this can include several temperature targets and timings in a single program. Our curing ovens allow complex schedules to be fully automated to provide a perfect curing environment that can be repeated as often as needed.

We love a challenge! Our industrial ovens can be made to fit in a tight spot, meet an unusual capacity, accommodate a certain process, you name it! Whether you are looking for a batch, curing, drying, electrical, gas, high temperature, or vertical lift door oven, we can help.
