At Dpstar, we understand the diversity and complexities of food and beverage processes and have extensive experience in the handling and processing of a wide variety of products, from raw to finished goods. Our expert team of designers and engineers have designed and fully implemented automated CIP systems for complex processes involving tanks, pumps, pipelines, valves, and the associated process machinery. We have experience with three-stage evaporator systems, aseptic pasteurizing, pumping, and storage. Our team has repeatedly demonstrated success in designing processes in demanding locations, with extreme uptime requirements. Our integrated CIP cleaning solutions play a central role in many process industries that require frequent and regular cleaning of equipment. Our experts design your installations to ensure the most efficient and optimal cleaning for your applications. Depending on their complexity, our solutions can be equipped with a dedicated control system with software that allows a high degree of automation of the process, increasing its efficiency and safety while reducing operating costs.
In the food and beverage industry, the cleaning of process equipment is critical to ensure the health and safety of the consumer, as well as maintain the quality of the product. Proper cleaning is essential for the production of high-quality food products, especially those with extended shelf life. The result of improper cleaning can be very costly for a factory. Simple mistakes in the production processes (and predominantly in the cleaning process) can lead to disastrous outcomes. In addition to severe consequences on human health, these cases can cause costly product recalls, loss of confidence in the company’s brand, and significant loss of revenue. Food processing plants require Clean In Place (CIP) plants and systems that give confidence to the user to ensure that the critical hygiene of the plant, pipework, and equipment is maintained during cleaning cycles. CIP equipment is designed to remove dirt, product residuals, germs, and other contaminants from equipment and machines integrated within a process system.
Dpstar understand your challenges in demanding CIP processes and provide you with a full line of hygienic, sanitary measurement solutions. Dpstar successfully design CIP systems include some form of the control panel, digital controller, PID Controller, and PLC with the colored touch-screen to operate and display the whole process flow and give complete control over parameters. The control systems can also be linked to external data storage and handling systems if required. Our CIP equipment is designed to control the key cleaning parameters with very high accuracy. Parameters include the temperature, flow, and concentration of detergent and water, combined with the time the detergent needs to be in contact with soiled equipment in order to clean it. The temperature of the cleaning liquid can be set. It can set the PH value, the cleaning time, and the cleaning sequence. The process can be monitored and controlled manually or automatically via Siemens Touch Screen. This makes the cleaning of equipment economical in terms of time spent (thereby increasing production uptime) and minimising the utilities consumed. It also prevents potential food safety risks. CIP takes place either after a processing run or when switching production from one recipe to another.
