Our client is a manufacturer of rubber-based clothing materials, that required precise heating to combine the rubber thread, but they were facing difficulties in accurately detecting gas temperature during the heating process. In addition, our client needed to ensure that the rubber material did not overheat, as this could lead to product damage and waste. With our cutting-edge solutions and expertise, we successfully developed a solution that met their needs. Our objective was to provide an accurate temperature measurement solution that would enable our client to achieve consistent production results and improve efficiency. The solution needed to be compatible with the Teflon rubber used in the production process and provide precise measurements of the gas temperature. To address these challenges, we offer an infrared thermometer that could provide accurate temperature readings during the heating process, and allow for precise control of temperature to prevent overheating and damage to the rubber material.

We developed a customized solution that utilized Raytek MI3 Series infrared thermometers. The solution comprised 44 infrared sensors, 8 multi-channel devices, and 8 communication modules with Modbus. The Raytek MI3 series was selected because it is specifically designed for non-contact temperature measurement and has a wide temperature range of up to 1800°C. The sensors are strategically placed throughout the rubber manufacturing process to ensure that the temperature is constantly monitored and controlled. The multi-channel and communication devices with Modbus enable the sensors to communicate with the control system, allowing for real-time monitoring and adjustments. This ensures that the rubber is heated to the optimal temperature and prevents any overheating or underheating, ensuring that the rubber is of the highest quality. The Raytek infrared thermometer solution provided accurate and reliable temperature measurements, enabling our client to achieve consistent production results and improve efficiency. The solution was also easy to install and maintain, reducing the overall downtime of the production process.
