Gypsum board, also known as drywall or wallboard, is widely used for construction and renovation projects due to its ease of installation and durability. Our client required a system that could accurately weigh and mix various raw materials in the correct proportions to produce high-quality gypsum boards. The main goal of this project was to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the manufacturing process by providing precise weight measurements and efficient ingredient batching. The system consists of multiple load cells, weigh indicators, and control systems, which were integrated into the existing production line. One of the key challenges of this project was to ensure the system was able to handle the harsh environmental conditions in the production facility. The load cells and control systems were designed and built to be rugged, with protective enclosures and high-quality materials to ensure reliability and longevity.
Dpstar designed and built a weighing and batching system for gypsum board powders using load cells, controllers, and software that communicate with each other to accurately weigh and dispense the raw materials. The weighing systems are designed to accurately measure the weight of raw materials, such as gypsum, additives, and other ingredients. The systems use high-precision load cells and weigh sensors to ensure accurate readings, which are essential for the consistent production of high-quality products. The batching systems are used to automate the mixing and blending of ingredients used in their manufacturing process. The systems use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to control the flow of ingredients, ensuring that the correct amount of each ingredient is added to the mix.
