PR Electronics 6335A – 2-Wire HART Transmitter

Application

  • Linear temperature measurement using Pt100…Pt1000, Ni100…Ni1000, or TC sensors.
  • Calculating temperature differences or averages between 2 resistance or TC sensors.
  • Converting varying linear resistances to standard analog current signals, such as from valves or Ohmic level sensors.
  • Amplifying bipolar mV signals to standard 4…20 mA current signals.
  • Connecting up to 15 channels with HART communication via digital 2-wire signals.

Technical specifications:

  • Quickly programmable for temperature measurement across all defined norms.
  • RTD and resistance inputs feature cable compensation for 2-, 3-, and 4-wire connections.
  • Designed with stringent safety standards suitable for SIL installations.
  • Output signal limits can be programmed.
  • Continuous monitoring of vital stored data for safety.
  • Sensor error detection compliant with NAMUR NE89 guidelines.

Mounting and installation:

  • Can be mounted vertically or horizontally on a DIN rail; the 2-channel version supports up to 84 channels per meter.
  • Configurable via standard HART interfaces or PR 5909 Loop Link.
  • Suitable for installation in zone 2, 22 / Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D.
