Advanced features

  • PR Electronics5131A transmitter can be configured using the PReset software program on a standard PC in conjunction with the Loop Link communications unit.

Application

  • Independent channel jumper-selectable inputs for current/voltage or temperature.
  • Programmable current input range from 0 to 100 mA and voltage inputs up to 250 VDC.
  • Linearized, electronic temperature measurement with RTD or TC sensors.
  • Conversion of linear resistance variations to a standard analog current/voltage signal, applicable for solenoids, butterfly valves, or linear movements with attached potentiometers.
  • 4- or 3-wire connection with automatic cable compensation, or 2-wire connection with programmable cable compensation.
  • Configurable sensor error detection, including NAMUR NE43.

Technical Characteristics

  • The 2-channel version features full galvanic isolation between channels.
  • Circuit separation for PELV/SELV installations.
