Vaisala GMP251  CARBOCAP Carbon Dioxide Probe is a intelligent, standalone probe designed to measure CO2 levels at the percentage level. It’s perfect for use in life science incubators, cold storage facilities, and during transportation of fruits and vegetables, as well as in any challenging environment requiring stable and precise CO2 measurements. It operates in temperatures ranging from -40 to +60 °C, with a measurement range from 0 to 20% CO2. Vaisala GMP251 uses Vaisala’s advanced CARBOCAP technology for outstanding stability. It utilizes a modern infrared (IR) light source instead of the usual incandescent bulb, ensuring a longer lifespan for the device. Vaisala GMP251 probe features full temperature and pressure compensations for CO2 measurements, including integrated temperature measurement for compensation. Its sensor head is heated to prevent condensation. It offers digital output via RS-485 with Modbus & Vaisala Industrial Protocol support. Each product comes with a calibration certificate. Vaisala GMP251 probe is part of the Indigo product family and can be connected to Indigo500 and Indigo200 series transmitters to expand its capabilities, such as for display or relays. It’s also compatible with the free Insight PC Software.
