Vaisala Temperature Probe DMP5 and DRYCAP Dew Point are made for measuring humidity in industrial drying setups with high temperatures and a broad dew point range. The sturdy steel probe and optional flange make installation easy, even reaching through insulation like in ovens.

Vaisala DMP5 incorporates the Vaisala DRYCAP sensor, which is accurate, reliable, and stable. The sensor is condensation-resistant and immune to particulate contamination, oil vapor, and most chemicals. Sensor warming minimizes the risk of condensation accumulating on the sensor. If the DRYCAP sensor does get wet, it dries rapidly and recovers its swift response time. In low-humidity conditions, the sensor will auto-calibrate to ensure accurate measurement. Vaisala DMP5 belongs to the Indigo family and works with Indigo500 and Indigo200 series transmitters. It’s compatible with Vaisala Insight PC software for data visualization, probe configuration, and self-calibration.

Measure Dew Point Directly In Hot Processes
Vaisala DMP5 is designed for measuring dew point in hot processes, ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 100°C (212°F). It provides accurate measurements with a margin of ± 2°C up to temperatures of 140°C (284°F), and it’s safe for use up to 180°C (+365°F). Installation is easy since the probe can be directly installed in the process. Plus, with in-line measurement, there’s no need for a sampling system or sample line heating.

Vaisala DRYCAP Sensor For Accurate & Reliable Measurements
The Vaisala DRYCAP sensor is precise, dependable, and consistent. It’s resistant to condensation and can withstand particulate contamination, oil vapor, and many chemicals. Sensor warming prevents condensation buildup. If the sensor gets wet, it dries quickly and bounces back. Its auto-calibration feature guarantees accurate and stable readings. The chemical purge function heats the sensor periodically to remove harmful substances, ensuring accuracy even in chemical-heavy environments between calibrations.

Use Standalone Or With An Indigo Transmitter
Vaisala DMP5 belongs to the Vaisala Indigo family, making it compatible with Vaisala Indigo series transmitters. These transmitters offer additional benefits like a display for data viewing, easy probe configuration, and more connectivity options for automation systems, supply voltage, and wiring. With built-in Modbus RTU over RS-485 output, the DMP5 can function independently or integrate seamlessly into third-party systems. Whether used alone or with an Indigo transmitter, it can connect to Vaisala Insight PC software for simple field calibration, probe setup, and device analysis.
