Ninomiya NI-GB – Glass Insulated Nickel-Conductor Heat Resistant Cables

Ninomiya NI-GB series consists of heat-resistant cables designed with nickel conductors that offer exceptional durability against heat and corrosion. These cables feature a maximum operating temperature of 220℃ and are insulated with glass fiber.

Construction:

• Conductor: The conductor is a stranded wire composed of multiple nickel elemental wires, conforming to JIS C 2532 standards. Alternatively, nickel-coated annealed copper wire can also serve as a conductor.
• Insulator: The conductor is double-served with glass, braided with glass yarn, and coated with silicone varnish to enhance insulation. For conductors with a nominal sectional area of 8.0 Sq. or more, a double braided glass yarn is used instead of the serving process.
• Color Coding: Identification of cables is achieved through colored silicone varnish and spiraled glass yarn braid, with colored glass fiber stripes on the outermost layer. The standard marking consists of red-spiraled stripes on a white background.

These cables are commonly employed as lead wires in electric heaters and in high-temperature equipment applications that demand robust resistance to heat and corrosion.
