Wireless Alert LD is a battery-powered sensor that detects localised fluid leaks and sends a warning message to a user-selected email address.

User-configurable settings include:

  • Device name
  • Alert notification message content
  • Alert delay (used to prevent triggering of an unwanted alert notification when the sensor is temporarily splashed – see diagram below)
  • Wi-Fi network connection

Once set up, Wireless Alert LD will send an email alert notification when the probe detects fluid between the sensor contacts (for a period longer than the alert delay setting), allowing users to take prompt corrective action. There are no ongoing subscription charges for the email alert service.
