Application

  • Linearized, electronic temperature measurement using RTD or TC sensors.
  • Conversion of linear resistance variations into standard analog current/voltage signals, such as from solenoids, butterfly valves, or linear movements with attached potentiometers.
  • Power supply and signal isolation for 2-wire transmitters.
  • Process control with two potential-free relay contacts configurable for advanced functions.
  • Galvanic isolation of analog signals and measurement of floating signals.

Technical Characteristics:

  • Quick and easy programming of the PR Electronics  5116A to fit specific applications within seconds.
  • Input calibration to the exact span of the process via the front push-button. Adjust zero drift on the process signal with a single press of the button.
  • Green front LED indicates normal operation and malfunctions, while a yellow LED lights up for each active output relay.
  • Continuous monitoring of vital stored data for safety.
  • 3-port galvanic isolation rated at 3.75 kVAC.

Mounting / Installation:

  • Can be mounted vertically or horizontally on a DIN rail. With no required spacing between neighboring units, up to 42 devices can be mounted per meter.
