Application

• Used for measuring temperature in various industrial systems such as food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, cold storage facilities, district heating systems, power plants, refineries, and ships.
• Also suitable for temperature measurement in gases and other fluid media.

Technical Specifications

• PR Electronics 7400 model includes a fixed measurement probe.
• It features a thin film platinum resistor (Pt100) sensor, calibrated in accordance with IEC 60751 standard, class A, for precise resistance values. The thin film design ensures extremely fast response times.
• The Pt100 sensor is electrically isolated from the protective tube and terminal head.
• The protective tube is made of Ø 9 x 1 mm stainless, acid-resistant steel (W no. 1.4571 / AISI 316TI), filled with aluminum oxide powder. It includes a 1/2” RG threaded nipple welded to the tube, with a sealing sheet of Ø 30 and a 30 mm span.
• The terminal head conforms to standard DIN 43729 form B specifications, made from lightweight metal alloy and protected against corrosion with industrial-grade lacquer.
• Options include models with or without cooling extensions to ensure the terminal head remains clear of insulated surfaces.

Electrical Connection

• Each sensor is supplied with a three-wire connection, enabling cable compensation for the sensor element.

Optional Features

• The Pt100 sensor type 7400 can be equipped with a built-in ceramic socket (item no. 7423) or a built-in 2-wire programmable transmitter suitable for both standard and intrinsically safe installations.
