Vaisala vNet PoE network interface provides easy connectivity with Vaisala DL series data loggers at a lower cost compared to other networking devices. Its snap-in design simplifies data logger connection, reducing wires between separate data loggers and Vaisala PoE devices. With power and data transmitted over the same cable, there’s no need for an AC power source, further cutting installation costs.

Vaisala vNet PoE integrates VL and SP data loggers without compromising their high accuracy, offering greater flexibility and simplicity in deploying the Vaisala Continuous Monitoring system. Vaisala viewLinc Aware function in the viewLinc monitoring software makes configuring data loggers quick and easy, whether setting up individual loggers or multiple units at once. Simply place the data loggers in a Vaisala vNet cradle, connect to a Local Area Network, and Vaisala viewLinc automatically discovers and configures the devices.

Vaisala vNet PoE interface comes in four models:

  • CDL-VNET-P with a fan inside the cradle for data loggers with an internal temperature channel.
  • CDL-VNET-LP without a fan for data loggers without an internal temperature channel.
  • CDL-VNET-PC with 15 V output to power external sensors and transmitters; includes internal fan
  • CDL-VNET-LPC with 15 V output to power external sensors and transmitters; without internal fan

There is also an option to power the interface with AC. Select the model that fits your application to monitor and record temperature, humidity, CO2, differential pressure, door switches, and many other parameters.
