Operation

Rainbow RNTS-120 – High Ampere Capillary Thermostat operates by regulating the temperature through measurement of both external and internal temperatures of the equipment, akin to an expanding-liquid thermostat. When heat is detected by the sensor, the liquid expands, causing the diaphragm to expand as well. This movement enables the switching action, making or breaking contact points in the switch. It is designed to automatically reset, continuously adjusting within the specified temperature range.

Features

Rainbow RNTS-120 is designed to handle up to twice the normal current (30A), eliminating the need for a separate relay or magnetic switch when operating high-amperage electric heaters.
