Vetrix OG Series – Oval Gear Flow Meter features a pointer display and operates as a volumetric flow meter. It utilizes a cumulative count print wheel with zero capabilities. Widely employed across various industries, it effectively controls the flow of liquids such as crude oil, diesel, and gasoline. The meter is renowned for its extensive range, high precision, ease of use, and maintenance convenience. Different materials can be chosen to cater to liquid flow measurement needs in sectors including petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, metallurgy, electricity, and transportation.
Operating Principle:
Fluid enters through the inlet port and flows into the metering chamber. Inside the chamber, the fluid drives internal gears to rotate, which in turn causes the fluid to exit through the outlet port. Each rotation of the gears displaces a specific volume of fluid. As the gears rotate, magnets attached to their ends pass by reed switches on the circuit board of the top-mounted register.
