Lascar EL-WiFi-VACX monitors the temperature of a probe placed inside a glycol-filled container, which imitates the temperature variations seen in vaccine samples. It wirelessly transmits data over any compatible Wi-Fi network, allowing users to monitor it from any internet-enabled device via a web browser or a free mobile app. Setting up the device and connecting it to Wi-Fi and the EasyLog Cloud is straightforward – simply download the free EasyLog WiFi PC software or the mobile app and follow the setup instructions. The device can be positioned anywhere within the Wi-Fi network’s range. In case of temporary Wi-Fi disconnection, it continues to log readings for up to 30 days at 10-second intervals until it reconnects with the EasyLog Cloud.

The device complies with IEEE 802.11bgn (2.4GHz) standards and supports various security protocols including WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption, and enterprise networks like PEAP, TTLS, and FAST. With an IP42 protection rating for the device and IP67 for the probe, it offers durability and reliability. It can stand alone or be mounted on a wall or surface using the provided bracket, which allows for easy attachment and removal. Additionally, it features a translucent back that displays a red flashing indicator during an alarm state, along with a moderate volume sounder to alert nearby individuals.
