For an optimum adaptation to the application, the transmitter can be switched between various pressure ranges. The factory setting is the most sensitive range. For the series 984M and 984A the less sensitive second range will be selected by simply removing a jumper. For the series 984Q the available eight ranges can be selected by a rotary selector switch.

Beck 984 series of differential pressure transmitters are utilized for measuring differential pressure, overpressure, and vacuum. They offer a choice of up to 8 pressure ranges and 2 output signals, which can be conveniently selected either by a jumper or a rotary selector switch. To best suit the application, the transmitter can be adjusted to various pressure ranges, with the factory default being the most sensitive range. In the case of the 984M and 984A series, switching to the less sensitive second range is as simple as removing a jumper. Meanwhile, for the 984Q series, the user can choose from the available eight ranges using a rotary selector switch.
