Lascar EL-WiFi-21CFR-VAC2 – Dual Channel 21CFR WiFi Vaccine Monitoring Kit

Lascar EL-WiFi-VAC2 monitors temperatures using two probes inserted into glycol bottles, mimicking vaccine samples. These probes connect to the logger via a 160mm Y splitter cable included in the package. Data is wirelessly streamed over any compatible WiFi network for viewing on the 21CFR Cloud platform. During setup, the sensor searches for an existing wireless network while connected to a PC.

Once configured, the sensor can be positioned within the network’s range. Typically, one probe is placed near vaccines in a fridge, with the ribbon cable extended to the logger attached outside the fridge using its magnetic wall bracket. The slim cable ensures it doesn’t disrupt the fridge seal. If connectivity is temporarily lost, the sensor continues to log readings for up to 30 days (at a 10-second sample interval) until communication is restored with the PC application or 21CFR Cloud.

The sensor complies with IEEE 802.11bgn* (2.4GHz) standards, supporting various encryption methods like WEP, WPA/WPA2, and enterprise networks (PEAP, TTLS, FAST). The logger unit has an IP42 protection rating, while the probe has an IP67 rating. It can stand freely or be attached to a wall/surface using the provided bracket, which allows easy clipping in and out as needed.
