Lascar Wireless Alert LD is a sensor powered by batteries, designed to detect fluid leaks in specific areas and send a notification message to an email address chosen by the user.

User-configurable settings include:

  • Device name
  • Alert notification message content
  • Alert delay (used to prevent triggering of an unwanted alert notification when the sensor is temporarily splashed – see diagram below)
  • Wi-Fi network connection

Once configured, Wireless Alert LD will promptly send an email notification when the probe detects liquid between the sensor contacts, provided it persists beyond the specified alert delay setting. This allows users to promptly address the situation without incurring any recurring subscription charges for the email alert service.
