Silicone-insulated cables with copper braided screening are utilized in environments where conventional PVC-insulated cables would become brittle due to exposure to high temperatures and temperature fluctuations. These cables are ideally suited for use in industries such as metallurgy, steel mills, hot-rolling mills, coking plants, foundries, cement factories, glassworks, ceramics plants, electric motor production, marine and aviation applications, heating equipment, and lighting systems, among others. The insulation is made of silicone rubber, offering resistance to vegetable and animal fats, various oils, and diluted acids. It remains stable when exposed to alcohol, plasticizers, alkaline and saline solutions, among others. In the event of a fire, a silicon dioxide layer forms on the conductor, preventing short circuits. The high-density screening ensures uninterrupted transmission of pulses and signals without interference.
