  • Advanced VSD Integration: We integrated state-of-the-art Ultra-Low Harmonics Variable Speed Drives tailored to the cooling system’s needs. These drives adjust the operation of pumps and fans to the actual cooling demand, significantly reducing energy consumption while maintaining optimal cooling performance. The VSDs, featuring a built-in optimized DC choke and a low-pass filter, comply with stringent IEEEE519 and G5/4 requirements, ensuring minimal harmonic distortion. Furthermore, the innovative design of the VSDs allows for easy settings cloning and customization of displays, streamlining the management of multiple units.

  • Cooling Tower Side Stream Filtration Skid: To address water conservation, a side stream filtration system was installed beside each cooling tower. This system filters out particles smaller than 0.1 microns, enabling the reuse of cooling tower water. This not only conserves water but also ensures the cooling system operates efficiently without compromising on performance.
  • Centralized Control System: A Centralized Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) was deployed to manage the operations of all 23 cooling towers seamlessly. The system’s design incorporates redundancy to guarantee continuous operation. If one CPU fails, the backup CPU immediately takes over, eliminating potential downtime. An intuitive Human Machine Interface (HMI) was suggested to allow for real-time monitoring and adjustments, improving usability and system responsiveness.
