Lascar EL-WiFi-21CFR-VAC – 21CFR WiFi Vaccine Monitoring Kit

Lascar EL-WiFi-VAC is a device used for measuring the temperature of a probe inserted into a glycol bottle, which is set up to simulate a vaccine sample. The collected data is transmitted wirelessly via any compatible WiFi network and can be monitored through the 21CFR Cloud platform. During setup, the sensor scans for an available wireless network while connected to a computer. Once configured, it can be placed within the network’s range. In a typical scenario, the probe is positioned alongside vaccines in a refrigerator, with the cable extending to the logger attached on the fridge’s exterior using a magnetized wall mount. The cable is intentionally thin to avoid disrupting the fridge’s seal.

Should the sensor temporarily lose connection with the network, it will continue logging readings until it reconnects with the PC application or the 21CFR Cloud, with a maximum storage duration of 30 days at a 10-second sampling interval. The sensor complies with IEEE 802.11bgn* (2.4GHz) standards and supports various encryption methods such as WEP, WPA/WPA2, and enterprise networks like PEAP, TTLS, and FAST. The logger unit has an IP42 protection rating, while the probe has an IP67 rating. The device can be placed on a surface or mounted on a wall using the provided bracket, which allows for easy attachment and detachment as needed.
