Ninomiya SR / R-LK – Silicone Rubber Insulated Cables

Silicone-rubber insulated wire (SR series, R-LK) is a tin-coated wire coated with silicone-rubber. SR series is manufactured based on the NINOMIYA Standards. There are five types in the series, rated at 600V, 300V, 1500V, 3300V and 6600V respectively. R-LK series is type-approved, conforms to the regulations of Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law and rated at 600V. Maximum operating temperature of both series is common at 180 ℃.

Ninomiya SR and R-LK are ranges of silicone-rubber insulated cables featuring tin-coated wires. The SR series adheres strictly to Ninomiya Standards and comprises five types rated at 600V, 300V, 1500V, 3300V, and 6600V respectively. The R-LK series, meeting type-approval criteria and conforming to Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law regulations, is rated at 600V. Both series can operate at temperatures up to 180 ℃.

Construction:

  • Conductor: Consists of a stranded wire made from multiple tin-coated annealed copper elemental wires, conforming to JIS C 3152 standards. Nickel-coated or silver-coated annealed copper wires can also serve as conductors.
  • Insulator: The conductor is uniformly coated with silicone rubber to achieve specified thicknesses, ensuring effective insulation.
  • Color: Standard color is white, with options including black, red, green, yellow, brown, blue, and gray available depending on the insulation type.

Applications: These cables find extensive use across various applications, including moderate to high-temperature environments (up to 180 ℃), lead wiring, and in wiring for moving parts where flexibility is crucial.
