Ninomiya GB – Heat Resistant Glass Cables

Heat-resistant glass wire (GB) made of heat-resistant tin-coated wires and covered with glass fiber. Maximum operating temperature of this series is 180℃.

Ninomiya GB manufactures Heat Resistant Glass Cables composed of heat-resistant tin-coated wires, encased in glass fiber. This series can operate at temperatures up to 180℃.

Structure:

  • Conductor: Consists of multiple tin-coated annealed copper elemental wires, meeting JIS C 3152 standards. Optionally, the conductor can be nickel-coated or silver-coated annealed copper wire.
  • Insulation: The conductor is double-served with evenly distributed glass, braided with glass yarn, and treated with heat-resistant varnish for insulation. Conductors with a nominal sectional area of 8.0 Sq. or more undergo double braiding with glass yarn instead of the serving process.
  • Color: Heat-resistant varnish provides color coding. Standard color is white, with options including black, red, green, yellow, brown, and blue.

Applications:

  • Widely used in various applications as cost-effective heat-resistant wiring, such as lead wiring in electric heaters and other high-temperature equipment.
