Ninomiya TFGB – PTFE-Tape Wrapped And Glass Insulated Heat Resistant Cable

PTFE-tape wrapped and glass-insulated heat-resistant wire (TFGB) is made of tin-coated annealed copper wires coated with PTFE tape and glass fiber. Maximum operating temperature of this series is 180℃.

Ninomiya TFGB – PTFE-Tape Wrapped And Glass Insulated Heat Resistant Cable consists of tin-coated annealed copper wires wrapped in PTFE tape and insulated with glass fiber. It is designed to operate effectively at temperatures up to 180℃.

Structure

  • Conductor: The conductor is a stranded wire composed of multiple tin-coated annealed copper elemental wires, conforming to JIS C 3152 standards. Alternatively, nickel-coated annealed copper wire or nickel wire can also serve as the conductor.
  • Insulation: The conductor is double wrapped with PTFE tape, uniformly covered with glass, and braided with glass yarn. A heat-resistant varnish is applied to the surface to enhance insulation properties. For conductors with a nominal sectional area of 8.0 Sq. or more, a double braiding with glass yarn replaces the serving process.
  • Color: The standard color is white, with options available in black, red, green, yellow, brown, and blue.

Applications: This cable is extensively used as lead wires or heat-resistant wires in applications such as electric heaters.
