Ninomiya TM450 – Silica Glass Insulated Nickel Conductor Heat Resistant Cable

Silica-glass insulated nickel-conductor heat-resistant wire (TM450) is made of nickel wires which are highly resistant to heat and corrosion, wrapped with glass-mica-polyimide tape and coated with silica-glass fiber. Maximum operation temperature of this series is 400℃ for continuous use.

Ninomiya TM450 – Silica Glass Insulated Nickel Conductor Heat Resistant Cable features nickel wires renowned for their exceptional heat and corrosion resistance. These wires are wrapped with glass-mica-polyimide tape and further coated with silica-glass fiber. This series is designed for continuous operation at temperatures up to 400℃.

Construction:

  • Conductor: Consists of multiple elemental nickel wires stranded together, complying with JIS C 2532 standards for electrical resistance wires, ribbons, and sheets.
  • Insulator: The conductor is double-wrapped with glass-mica tape, braided with silica-glass fiber, and surface-coated with polyimide to provide insulation.
  • Color: Typically dark brown due to the polyimide coating, though the shade may vary depending on the baking temperature.

Applications: This cable is ideal for applications requiring high-temperature resistance, such as lead wires for electric heaters or wiring in equipment where exceptional heat resilience is essential, without the use of asbestos.
